SD Travels was born from a simple conviction: that Bhutan, a kingdom that measures its
success in happiness, deserves travellers who arrive with open hearts — and a travel
company that puts its land, culture, and people first.

WHERE IT BEGAN

A dream born in the valleys of the Thunder Dragon

We grew up here — beneath prayer flags strung across mountain passes, in villages where guests are treated as blessings. When we founded SD Travels, we didn’t set out to build a tour company. We set out to share a way of life.

Every journey we craft is guided by that beginning: intimate, unhurried, and rooted in genuine connection with the people and places of Bhutan.
